LE101XF The new redesigned function only decoder from Lenz is now available. The good news is that we held the price down but are delivering 2 extra functions for a total of 6. The functions are fully mappable and offer special affects on all outputs.
Silver Series decoder is now in market. The "Silver" offers exceptional Silent Back emf performance, accesses Asymmetric DCC, and thermal/short protections for the 21st century!
The newest addition to the Silver line-up is the Silver MINI and the Silver Direct. The SIlver Direct has the NMRA plugs embeded on the underside of the PCB. It makes installation a snap.
Power 1 : Add-on Power for implementing USP Technology on Gold decoders
POWER-1 is an energy storage module for use with GOLD Series decoders. This storage unit supplies the decoder and the locomotive with power when there is an interruption of electrical connection to the track (e.g. dirty tracks).
The USP circuit of the GOLD decoders allows the decoder to receive the DCC signal without a direct electrical connection to the track. During the period where track electrical power is not present the USP circuit switches to the backup power provided from the POWER-1 storage module to ensure continued control of the motor. If digital information is no longer transmitted, the motor will be deactivated. This prevents the locomotive wheels from continuing to turn, for example: in the case of a derailment.
April , 2005: Automatic Braking Control (ABC) allows for precision stopping at selected locations such as in front of red signals or in front of a turnout thrown against the train.. The simple Block Management modules are used to tell the train to stop at a specific location. For example, when the locomotive decoder receives the “stop” signal status information, the train will stop, if the signal is "green", the train will continue unimpeded.
To combine ABC technology with the BM1 block section modules, it is necessary to use Digital plus GOLD series locomotive decoders or other decoders that support the ABC technology.
LRC120 RailCom Local Address Display
June 2005: Lenz announces the new LRC120 Local Address Display.
The address display LRC120 shows the address of a locomotive in a track section connected to the LRC120. This track section may be located at any point on your model railway layout.
