NMRA DCC Decoder
The LE122 decoder is designed for converting locomotives with universal motors (used in
AC operation) for use with DCC. Marklin 3 rail locomotives are an example of
locomotives with motors of this type.
The LE122 decoders are fully programmable in Register, Direct and Paged programming.
This allows for full programming with any NMRA DCC Compatible DCC Command Station or
Programmer. This gives owners of these systems full access to these outstanding decoders
from Lenz.
The LE122 Decoder:
Characteristics of this decoder are:
- Selectable for operation with 14/27 or 28 speed steps.
- Operation on conventional DC layouts. This feature may be disabled.
- Provides 1 A continuous motor current.
- Four on/off function outputs with a current rating of 200mA each. Two of which are
dedicated for the directional lighting.
- Support for Advanced Consist Control and Extended addressing.
- Support for short form programming on the main for acceleration and deceleration trim.
- Support for all forms of programming as described in NMRA RP- 2.3.
- Programmable locomotive address, acceleration, and brake momentum, speed curve, and much
more.
