The LH200 starts has a custom molded case and knob, sporting state of the art electronics inside.

Although discontinued, we still provide information for those still operating the LH200. The LH200 hand held controller has a sensitive 256 step potentiometer, fast access up to 6 locomotive addresses, direct switching of five functions (F0-F4) with a shift key to access F5-F8, and a traditional center-off toggle switch for direction control.

The LH200  supports both 2 and 4 digit addresses. To select a locomotive you select the address menu, press the desired digit key and move the knob until the digit is seen in the display. To change the next digit simply press the next appropriate digit key and spin the knob again. Any combination of a 4 digit can quickly and easily be entered into the handheld.

Pressing the address key  sequences between up to 6 most common locomotives, pressing the shift address sequences between all locomotives in a consist allowing easy access to all the locomotive functions even while they are in a consist.  The easy to read display quickly tells you the locomotive address you are operating while the smooth and stiff know indicates the speed simply by its position.

All  locomotives are remembered along with your other settings across all power interruptions. This means that you can shut down your layout and when you return a day, week, month or year later, your handheld is ready to use just as you left it.

The LH200 connects to the LV101 or LV200 and acts as the system's Command Station, or connects to  XpressNET and becomes an advanced handheld.  Conversion between these two modes is transparent and automatic.
