Now the LH90 has full capabilities of all the advanced features set of our LH100
push button throttle.
The LH90 also is our first handheld which can have its software upgraded without changing any parts! If you are currently operating LH90 version 3.2, contact your Lenz distributor for upgrade directions. This is brand new code, so it might take a little while for distributors to get their upgrade process in place.
Upgrades procedures will very from continent to continent, this is due to shipping and cost variables.
LH90 V3.5 has a luminescent, 4-digit LED display. It is able to display the numbers 0 to 9 and other symbols. The LH90 hand held controller has a sensitive 256 step potentiometer, fast access up to 8 locomotive addresses, the Version 3.5 can now operate functions (F0-F13) .
The New Menu shortcuts help for quicker access to the most commonly used menus:
Address Enter, Switch Control, and Functions Control.
Please note that some advanced features, for example, 12 functions, momentary
are not supported by all Xpress Net Command stations.
If you do not operate a Lenz LZ or LZV100 command station, possibly this is a good time to upgrade to the Professional Grade Lenz LZV100!
Then you can take full advantage of the new LH90 software.
The "stack" feature facilitates quick access to up to 8 locomotive addresses. To each digit of the deck you can allocate any loco address between 0 and 9999. This will ensure that you have fast and reliable access to the locomotives which are most important for the current operating situation, at the touch of a few buttons. The locomotive addresses entered in the stack are permanently stored, even if the LH90 is switched off.

The LH90 connects to the XpressNET on any XpressNet based systems and becomes an advanced handheld.
Connection to the command station LZV100 or older LZ100.
Plug the 5-pole DIN-plug
- into the 5-pole DIN-socket at the rear of your LZ100 or
- into the LA150 or LA152 adapter which is connected to the LZ100.
Connection to the SET02 (Note-Set-02 is disconinued)
Plug the 5-pole DIN-plug into an LA152 adapter connected to the SET02 or to the SET03.
Connection to the "compact" or Atlas Commander
Plug the 5-pole DIN-plug into an LA152 adapter connected to the "compact".
Alternatively you can use the adapter LY009 to connect the LH90 directly to the "compact".
